Jenny Flowers Sports Therapy was established in 2011.

Our chief practitioner Jenny Flowers graduated with a First Class BSc (Hons) degree in Sports Therapy, from Coventry University in 2011. She is a full member of the Society of Sports Therapists. Over the years she has predominantly worked within Chiropractic and Osteopathy clinics across the East Midlands, providing detailed assessments for all musculoskeletal conditions and providing treatment and rehabilitation programs to guide the patient back to optimum health.

Jenny has always had a keen interest in sport, her main sport being Hockey, she has played since the age of 11 for a local hockey club and for her region. This was the main inspiration of following the path of Sports Therapy, she would hate to miss even just one minute of a hockey match. This is where the interest of the human body came from, how it works, what happens when we injure ourselves and how to get back to the pitch as soon as possible. So, if it is one thing Jenny understands it is the importance of exercise on the mind and impact it can have on someone’s life if it is taken away.

Alongside clinical practice Jenny has worked within corporate environments providing onsite treatment and advice. Please see our corporate page for more information. As well as pitchside cover for Rugby matches and events from children aged as young 10 to adult Rugby Union leagues. She also participates in many hours of CPD that varies depending on what piques her interest from something she has discovered from her patient base. So far this has ranged from Sports Nutrition in depth course of the shoulder and Kinesiology Taping. She is always researching the different ways that injuries can be treated and trying to discover new, fun exercises to keep her patients engaged. In the future she is looking to complete Injury Specific courses and Exercise Rehabilitation.

Outside of Clinics Jenny enjoys time with her family, she has two  young daughters Georgie and Maddie who keep her on her toes constantly. She loves cooking and is always looking for new recipes to try. She loves spending a lot of time outside as fresh air is always the best medicine. Before Georgie and Maddie came along she would enjoy travelling and discovering new parts of the world, with her favourite places being Canada and Cuba so far...
